Crazy Pineapple Strategy

If you know how to play Texas Holdem, then it will be easy for you to learn Crazy Pineapple Poker. Crazy Pineapple is a variation of texas hold'em that is very similar to regular Texas Holdem, except with 2 very interesting differences change the nature of the game quite significantly.
  1. YOU START WITH THREE HOLE CARDS - While in regular Texas Holdem you start with two hole cards, in Crazy Pineapple, you start with three.
  2. You throw a Hole Card Away! - AFTER the flop, you must discard one of your hole cards.
Pineapple is a fun game to play, because of the extra strong flops and extra key decision about what cards to keep after the flop.

Crazy Pineapple - Playing the Game

  1. Three Hole Cards are Dealt, followed by a round of betting,
  2. The flop - 3 cards are dealt face-up, followed by a round of betting,
  3. Players still in the game, discard one of their hole cards, folowed by a round of betting,
  4. A fourth card, the Turn, is added face up, followed by a round of betting
  5. A fifth card, the River, is added face up, followed by the last round of betting
  6. Whoever has the best hand wins.
You will want to play slightly fewer hands when playing Crazy Pineapple Poker than you would in a regular Texas Holdem game, simply because with more hole cards to choose from, the bar is raised, and you will be competing against slightly better hands.
The place to play Crazy Pineapple Poker is at Ultimate Bet. Since this is my personal favorite place to play Poker online, I recommend it wholeheartedly.
