The object of roulette is to place your bet on the number the ball will land on. There are two versions of Roulette Games:
- American Roulette – which has 38 pocket numbers, 1 – 36, including 0 and 00. Having two zeros gives the house a larger advantage, and is understandably not as popular as:
- European Roulette – which has 37 pocket numbers, 0 – 36. Also, in European Roulette, if the ball lands on the zero (0), the gambler may choose to surrender one half of his/her outside wagers or to leave them for the next game.
